What a way
to sell!!

The Great Plains District (our district) was the number one Council in Popcorn sales again, topping last years sales by $7,000. We are very proud of our Pack 179. We were 4th in the Council, and when you add in the sales of all the Boy Scout Troops, we only dropped one notch to 5th. Quite an accomplishment! Congratulations!

Welcome Home a Hero

Saturday, December 5th

Every day, more than 100 soldiers come through DFW Airport on their way home for two weeks of much anticipated rest and recuperation. Your Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers can help welcome these heroes home!

Pack 179 has been invited to join the Junior League of Plano’s Family Project which will be Welcoming Home a Hero on Saturday, December 5th. Please encourage your scouts to make signs and bring flags with them to this event. As always, a Class A Uniform is requested to be worn. I will send out emails via scout track the night before with any available flight information. Please feel free to call the number below to check on the arrival time prior to your departure for the airport.

Every day the flight lands at approximately 10 a.m. to noon. Just call 972-574-0392 the morning of your visit to confirm the Terminal, gate and approximate landing time.
